William A. "Bill" Bolinsky, 55, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, April 5, 2010. Bill moved to Fredericksburg in 1989 from New Orleans, LA., the first office of his career in the FBI. He was a very devoted citizen to his country. He was a member of the Strength & Honor Motorcycle Club and an avid hunter.
He began working for the FBI in 1985. He was a member of the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) from 1989 until 1995. He was a decorated agent with many achievements, including the Medal of Valor for rescue efforts in Waco, Texas.

Larry K. Hahn, age 62 of Belmar, died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in New York, he had lived the past 30 years in Belmar. Larry was employed by the Borough of Belmar in the police communications department for 29 years. He served his country honorably in the US Navy for 20 years. He was currently very active with the Manasquan Pop Warner Football teams since 1985.

Name: Carl "Mousse" Hendricks
October 6, 1985 - November 11, 2014
Short Bio
Carl Davis Hendricks, Jr, was born in Germantown, KY. He passed away at the age of 29 on November 11, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in April 2013. Carl joined SHMC as a Prospect with the Kansas Chapter in January 2013. During his time with SHMC, he impacted the lives of those who knew him with his "Go To" attitude and his willingness to help the Kansas Chapter, the Community, and disabled veterans. He was stationed at the Wounded Warrior Division in Fort Riley, KS. His passion, along with riding, was helping his fellow veterans that have been wounded or disabled in combat and his son, Preston. Carl, along with another member, made plans to ride Route 66 across America as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, but unfortunately his dream fell short due to the accident. He was definitely the kind of guy you meet once, and never forget. His smile and laughter was contagious and always brought a smile to our faces. His passion for life and living and his fighting spirit after numerous surgeries were an inspiration to all.

John Charles Simmons passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Born in Waterloo, IA, he was the son of Stanley Cary Simmons, Jr. and the late Patricia Sue Adams Simmons. He retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service and served in Desert Storm. He was a Police Officer for Fort Jackson and worked part time for Auto Zone in Elgin, SC. Mr. Simmons was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Strength and Honor Motorcycle Club and was a Mason. He enjoyed video games, motorcycle riding, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Name: Ira “Ratchet” Baker II

Master Gunnery Sergeant Ira Benner Baker II, USMC Retired, 61, of Fredericksburg quietly passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by the love of family, friends, and his SHMC Brothers.

Ira was born in Kinston, NC and grew up in Cedaredge, CO where he gained a love of the outdoors and a yearning for adventure. He entered the United States Marine Corps upon graduating high school and served in various conflicts and operations as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic, a CH-46 Helicopter Crew Chief, Maintenance Supervisor and direct involvement with HMM-161 and HMM-265 throughout his 30 years of distinguished service to this nation. Ira’s most memorable periods came during his time with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 268 and also while stationed with Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1). His decorated career reached its pinnacle when he was nominated and served as the Aviation Maintenance Chief of the Marine Corps with Headquarters, Marine Corps, Aviation. A true patriot and friend, Ira lived a passionate life committed to helping others as evidenced by the way he lived and those he touched. His presence was widely felt by countless individuals throughout this career and continued into retirement. He actively pursued many hobbies to include French and Indian War reenactments, was a passionate history buff, enjoyed wood working, tractors and farm equipment, motorcycles, firearms collecting and had a true genuine love for animals. Ira had a contagious smile and a spontaneous sense of humor that never failed to invoke laughter from everyone present. He will always be admired and loved by many.
